The Surface Science Network project is an initiative aiming to create an interactive community among people that work in fields related to surface science. It counts with a discussion forum and a Surface Science online encyclopedia (Wiki).

The Forum

The SSN forum is divided into three sections:

  1. Announcements
  2. Requests and Useful information
  3. Tips and Tricks

The surface science network forum is a very new tool and like any discussion forum it will only be successful if there is a number of people large enough to keep it alive. It intends to be a virtual space, nowadays inexistent as far as we are aware, for active networking of people within the surface science community. Making these tool useful will depend on the participation of users like you. We are just a group of enthusiasts an d we do not count with monetary resources to promote the website so we will ask you to spread the word so that other people know about the existence of this tool and can benefit from it.

The Wiki

Please feel free to contribute with definitions of fields related with your area of expertize within Surface Science. With small contributions of each of us we will soon be able to enjoy this reference tool when we need rapid access to a concept. We will as well, from time to time, transfer here the information that is generated by the discussions in the Surface Science Network forum.
